On paid / on open invoices splits each line by the payment status of the invoice it sits on — it does not change the box totals. Income is booked as billed, and the open portion shows up as accounts receivable on your benchmarking form, so it still gets counted. Storage is the one exception: it's counted only when collected, in the panel below.

Call duty class — for lines that follow the job
Some charge lines ride on every kind of job — mileage, fuel surcharge, hourly tow fees, winching — so no single box is right for them. Set those lines to “⇢ Follow the call's duty class” in the table above and their dollars get split job by job, using the column you pick here.
Pick the column that honestly says how big the job was. Vehicle Class is often left at its dispatch default, so check the average invoice in the table below before trusting it — the truck that ran the call is usually the more reliable signal.

Recovery rule — a call is Recovery only when its recovery charges exceed the threshold
Recovery/rotator charges are detected automatically. If a call's recovery charges exceed the threshold, the whole call books as Recovery; smaller ride-along recovery folds into the call's duty box (Light or Medium/Heavy), so it never inflates Recovery.

Storage — counted when collected, not when billed
Billed storage is phantom until someone claims or buys the vehicle. Payments are applied to towing first; storage only counts once towing is covered. The rest is left out as future bad debt.
